Dagmar Butte, a shareholder of Parker, Butte & Lane in Portland, Oregon has practiced Immigration Law since 1992 and is currently an elected member of the 11,000 member American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Board of Governors and an Ambassador for the American Immigration Council (AIC). She was elected a SuperLawyer by her peers in 2008 and 2009 and received the Oregon AILA Chapter’s 2009 Gerald Robinson Excellence in Immigration Advocacy Award. She writes and speaks frequently for AILA National, Regional and local seminars as well as privately sponsored seminars and Lewis & Clark Law School sponsored immigration events, has served as Associate Editor of Immigration Options for Artists and Entertainers, has chaired and been a member of several national AILA Committees including USCIS Head Quarters, USCIS General Counsel, Due Process, Detention and Removal, Publications, Physicians & Allied Healthcare Workers and various seminar planning committees. In her spare time, she is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Lewis & Clark Law School and has served as the coach of the Lewis & Clark Law School Jessup Team for the past 18 years.
