Russell Dalferes, Esq.

Russell E. “Rusty” Dalferes has more than 10 years of experience in insurance defense and corporate litigation, and has a burgeoning legal practice in the specialized field of employment law applicable to international organizations. Licensed in Louisiana, his professional experience includes cases in more than 20 U.S. states (both common law and civil law jurisdictions) and matters involving multiple agencies of the United Nations. He is also an avid reader, writer, and editor of both fiction and non-fiction, co-founding a business to assist authors to finalize, market, and e-publish their works. A former ILSA student officer, he has been involved with ILSA and Jessup since his first year in law school, including serving as the Judge Coordinator of the Jessup International Rounds since 2008 and judging Jessup competitions on four continents.
