Pedro M. Muñoz, Esq.
Pedro Muñoz is a founding partner at the 115 member strong Central American Law Firm of Arias & Muñoz, with eight offices in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Pedro was the partner in charge of opening the Nicaragua office of F.A. Arias & Muñoz, but now resides part time in San José and part time in Guanacaste, a province of Costa Rica which is well known for its tourism boom. In Guanacaste, Pedro heads a very active law practice. He has cultivated his real estate practice and has developed a Municipal law and tax practice. Pedro participated in the Jessup in 1991; has promoted the expansion of Jessup into other Central American countries including Nicaragua and Guatemala; was a founder and the first President of the Costa Rican Association of International Law (ACODI). ACODI is a Costa Rican non-profit in charge of promoting international law through, inter alia, student exchange programs, a human rights moot court competition under the Inter-American system named after Justice Jiménez de Arechaga, and the Costa Rican Jessup National Competition. Pedro has judged and coached many Jessup rounds during his 16 year Jessup career which he has found most gratifying. Education Admitted to Practice Languages |
