The winner of the 2005 Shearman & Sterling Jessup Cup was the University of Queensland (Australia) (Applicant), which defeated the International Islamic University (Malaysia) (Respondent), arguing before a Championship Round panel which consisted of H.E. Dame Rosalyn Higgins, Professor James Crawford, and James Carter.
