Registration Opens.

Release of Official Jessup Rules. (National Supplements will be posted as they become available)

 

28 September 2007

Anticipated Release Date of Jessup Compromis.

 

October 2007

Release of First Batch of Basic Materials. The Basic Materials are a collection of research materials, designed to ensure that all teams, regardless of budget and access to information, start from the same position. All Basic Materials will be posted to the ILSA Jessup website.

 

26 October 2007

Deadline for Requests for Clarifications. Requests must be sent to the ILSA Executive Office by email to clarifications@ilsa.org.

 

2 November 2007

Deadline for U.S. Team Registration.

 

16 November 2007

Anticipated Release Date of Corrections and Clarifications to the Jessup Compromis.

 

30 November 2007

Deadline Non-U.S. Team Registration.

 

Deadline Final Team Roster.  This is the latest date on which teams may submit the names of their team members.

 

Deadline Registration Waiver Applications.  This is the latest date on which teams may apply for a waiver of the registration fee.

 

Deadline Eligibility Inquiries. This is the latest date on which individuals falling under Official Rule 2.2.2 may request the Executive Director’s special permission to compete.

 

DEADLINE Basic Materials Suggestions. This is the latest date on which teams may suggest documents to be included in Second Batch of Basic Materials.

 

December 2007

Release of Second Batch of Basic Materials. The Second Batch of Materials is based upon requests from teams and usually includes a variety of treaties, caselaw, and secondary sources.

 

14 January 2008

Deadline for Submission of Memorials.  Memorials must be emailed to the Regional/National Administrators and the ILSA Executive Office via email in accordance with the Official Rules. Additional submission requirements and deadlines may be imposed by a National Supplement to the Rules.  It is the responsibility of teams to know the submission requirements of their National Rules Supplement, if any.  Teams should contact their National Administrator if they are unsure whether a National Rules Supplement exists.

 

Jan-Mar 2008

REGIONAL AND NATIONAL ROUNDS. Dates for Regional and National Competitions will be posted on the Jessup Website as they become available.
