The International Law Students Association is a non-profit association of students and lawyers who are dedicated to the promotion of international law. ILSA provides students with opportunity to study, research, and network in the international legal arena. The organization's activities include academic conferences, publications, the global coordination of student organizations, and the administration of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Registered attendees will be able to attend a slate of thought provoking panels and listen to Dr. Geert van Castelr's keynote speech on the role of science in international law.
Participants in the Jessup are encouraged to attend the Jessup Compromis Discussion Panel, where a panel of experts will discuss the legal issues surrounding the 2015 Jessup Competition specifically within the context of the facts of the 2015 Compromis.

ILSA is currently looking for an intern to work in our new offices, located in Washington D.C., for the upcoming fall semester. Generally, legal education in the U.S. and elsewhere focuses upon domestic or local law. ILSA is dedicated to supplementing this traditional approach with opportunities for study, research and career networking which concentrates on international and transnational law. You will be working alongside legal professionals with the desire to improve the international community.
Interns will be based in ILSA’s Washington D.C. headquarters and will be expected to commit to working 15 hours per week for the fall quarter with the possibility of continuing through the entire year.
