About

Join  Deutsche Universität für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer for its Sustainable and Climate-neutral Public Administration in Europe Conference. Speakers will present different perspectives on sustainability and governance.

Sustainability is one of the major tasks for public administration worldwide. At this particular conference, three groups of actors will meet for sustainability issues on an international basis: administrative science, administrative practice and administrative academies. Those groups are still not enough directly linked to each other. An approach by a target-oriented discourse is supposed to give new impulses for a future sustainability development in the respective field of activity. Already existing development should be maintained and intensified.

Keynote 1: Sustainability in Public Administration – Neglected Issue or Priority Theme? – Tatyana Teplova, Head of Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development Goals Division & Carina Lindberg, Policy Analyst, OECD Public Governance Directorate
Keynote 2: How Does the New German Government Approach Sustainability in Public Administration? – Dr Franziska Brantner, Parliamentary State Secretary, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
