It had been Syed Ali Zain Raza Naqvi’s dream to represent his country, Pakistan, at the Jessup International Rounds. Luckily for him, he got his chance right before graduating from law school. Just being at the International Rounds would have been a dream come true for Syed, but things went even better than he and his teammates could have imagined. After days of intense competition, Syed and his team managed to finish 18th, a record for a school from Pakistan. Syed even managed to make the top 50 oralists at the International Rounds. Looking back on the experience, Syed says, “Jessup has taught me that if you are willing to put in hard work and remain steadfast in working towards your goal, you will be rewarded.”
